Legendary 034 -

Friday, July 8, 1066 SE

During the night, Mon explores the third floor of the South Gate hotel, looking for secret spaces. He questions Hennadi about his ownership, and the owner tells him he’s owned the building about seven years. Three or four of the rooms were permanently occupied by individuals for various extended stays, including for more than 12 years. All three of them had left prior to Hennadi purchasing the building.

Mon helps Hennadi prepare breakfast.

After waking up, Branna sends a message to her parents asking if they can keep Dhuka until tomorrow morning

Luba has recovered from the shock of yesterday’s performance.

Sir Sergeii is here early again, second day in a row. Breakfast at the South Gate Hotel, the Konstantina Sun's review. The newspaper praises Luba and the crew of the Legendary. Sir Sergeii wonders if some of the disruptions could be incorporated into the actual play, as a wink to what happened yesterday. Marigold suggests they move a tree for every performance.

There have been a series of burglaries, and rooms have been broken into. Several things are missing, including

Anya’s Arcane Study Notes: Mon has been training Anya to "tap into arcane power" so she can use the message cantrip to communicate despite her "stolen voice". As a new student who is often seen "retreating within herself" during her training, Anya likely possessed notes or mnemonic sketches used to help her master the "rudiments of magic"one more night.

The Master Annotated Script for Masha and the Bear: Branna and Mon spent significant time "jotting down adjustments" to the script, replacing "independentist" themes with "religious iconography" and "pious labor" to ensure the play was not seen as a threat to the crown. This hand-marked, unique copy would be an essential—and potentially incriminating—document for the troupe to lose just before their premiere

Entry A (1051 SE): Notes a female birth to the King and an unnamed "Northern Lady" at a discreet residence outside the capital. The child is recorded only as “Girl. A similar entry in 1054 announces the birth of another girl child. The entry is heavily coded but lists the same paternal source ("His Majesty, the Sovereign") as the entry for Anya in the official records.

Branna puts 100 gold down on the mirror. 175 gold, plus responsible for moving it.

Infromation to deal with.

Ideas?

  • Plain china, paint it with each play's theme, and signed by one of the lead actors. Could also be the play poster. Package it with Legendary Tea, and sell - Marigold's idea.
  • Druid who lives in a grove in the forest near Klara
  • A traveling company is sent to visit all of the mines and entertain the miners. Way to make money for the theater and also recruit insurgents?
  • Duhka goes missing when she infiltrates the Cathedral. She has to be found
  • Duhka found her sister inside the Cathedral, locked up in one of the underground dungeon cells
    • Why is her sister here?
  • Sir Stal, owner of the largest iron ore and steel mill, dragon?
