Through further exploration they finally discover the Forge of Spells, and encounter a Spectator wearing dwarven armor. The Spectator is tasked with guarding the forge of spells, and has defeated many enemies over the years, with lots of dead bodies in front of the doors.
They finally encounter the Spider, but combat proves deadly as Kyrdean falls. Shifty and Shady betray the group, and they withdraw back to the Forge of Spells.
